Welcome to Yolo County Backpacks for Kids, where you can make a difference to local kids in need!
The MISSION of Yolo County Backpacks for Kids is to provide new backpacks and school supplies to children and schools in need throughout Yolo County.
For the last five years, through the generosity of Yolo County residents, businesses and leaders, over 4,000 children whose families had insufficient resources to buy school supplies have received the necessary materials to start the school year properly equipped and prepared to learn.

Costco Returns as Sponsor for Fifth Year!
Costco in Woodland will again sponsor Backpacks for Kids, generously donating over 500 backpacks to Woodland Schools and to kids throughout Yolo County. Costco has supported B4K for five years and is the single largest contributor to the Backpacks for Kids program since it began in 2007! Many thanks to everyone on the Costco Team!
